New High Capacity Compressor
TMC have worked closely with customers to develop a new high-capacity compressor. The result is a design and functionality that is optimal for installation on board ships.
The unique design, with all high elements placed at one end, allows for installation in a smaller/lower area then what is possible with competing compressors. Also, all service points are accessible from one side, which means that placement is flexible not only in terms of height but also in terms of horizontal space, as it is not necessary to be able to access the compressor from more than one side. All canopy walls can be removed.
Other benefits of this new compressor include the possibility for soft-starter or Smart Air frequency control (which can be integrated in the electrical cabinet), flange connections ready for connection, integrated lifting facilities. The compressor is water-cooled and vibration dampers come as standard.
