In an award ceremony in Korea the 12th March 2010, TMC received the Samsung-Q Mark Gold award.

Nominated as a result of Samsung’s stringent quality audit and being one of only two European suppliers to be awarded the Samsung-Q Mark Gold this year, we are proud to be ranked as one of Samsung Heavy Industries’ highest-quality suppliers.
In 2008, we were awarded the Samsung-Q Mark Silver quality award. With continued high-quality deliveries in accordance with Samsung HI’s stringent quality policies, TMC was now awarded the highest level quality award presented by Samsung HI, Samsung-Q Mark Gold.
The Samsung-Q Mark is awarded based on Samsung’s Q Mark quality evaluation system. Candidates for the Samsung-Q Mark 2010 were selected based on their accomplishments during 2009 in design, manufacturing, installation on board, and claims during installation.

Samsung have installed TMC marine screw compressors for various applications onboard a number of their newbuildings.
