With the TMC Smart Air technology, the production of compressed air is adjusted precisely according to the air demand. This reduces energy consumption by 40-50% compared to a conventional compressor. The result is big cost reductions and also significant reductions in emissions.
High profile shipping companies such as BW Gas, BW Offshore, Stolt Nielsen Tankers Group, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, BP and Teekay have chosen TMC Smart Air to solve their needs for compressed air onboard their newbuildings, and TMC Smart Air compressors will be onboard a number of state-of-the-art vessels soon to be launched.
New this year is that we are expanding oue range of TMC Smart Air compressors to also include large capacities. The TMC Smart Air range now covers a capacity range from 70.8 to 3222 m3/h.
